Bring your family and friends, enjoy a delicious meal and take a chance on a wide variety of door prizes. The activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 p.m. The Octoraro Riverkeeper Award and President’s Citations will be announced and presented during dessert. The annual Business Meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. followed by the featured speakers at 7:30 p.m.
This year, our guest speaker will be Zoë Warner, program manager for the Willistown Conservation Trust Grassland Collaboration Program. You can learn more about the Willistown Conservation Trust at land@wctrust.org.
The dinner menu will be Chicken Parmesan, Salad, Pasta Alfredo, Green Bean Almondine, dessert and coffee. Water will be served and there will be a cash bar for wine and soda. The cost of the dinner is $40.00 per person/$16.00 for children ages 7-12. Under 7’s are free.
The following individuals and officers will be voted on at the Annual Meeting. Nominations will also be taken from the floor the night of the meeting

Reversing the Decline of Grassland Birds in Chester County
Speaker Bio:
Zoë Warner is a grassland bird consultant for Willistown Conservation Trust. She manages the Grassland Bird Collaboration, a program that partners with farmers and landowners to support local grassland bird populations that rely on Chester County’s agricultural landscape for breeding. She has a Ph.D. in Environmental Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
Recognitions for the Year 2023: President’s Citations and River Keeper
The Octoraro Watershed Association’s President’s citations will be awarded to Matt Williams and Tejal Tari. Matthew Williams is the founder of Technical Difficulties AI and the Chief Technical officer. Tejal Tari is a web expert with a very creative eye for designing the most amazing websites. Through their donation of time and energy from Technical Difficulties AI, the OWA has a brand-new website that is easily accessible, beautiful to view and functional for all our members. Also, these very talented people are a major part of Philly Unlimited, which is a non-profit dedicated to reducing gun violence recidivism via daily survival support mobile apps for formerly incarcerated individuals in the Philadelphia area.
