Bring your family and friends, enjoy a delicious meal and take a chance on a wide variety of door prizes.
The activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:30 p.m. The Octoraro Riverkeeper Award and President’s Citations will be announced and presented during dessert. The annualBusiness Meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. followed by the featured speakers at 7:30 p.m.

The dinner menu will be Chicken Parmesan, Salad, Pasta Alfredo, Green Bean Almondine, dessert and
coffee. Water will be served and there will be a cash bar for wine and soda. The cost of the
dinner is $40.00 per person/$16.00 for children ages 7-12. Under 7’s are free.
The following individuals and officers will be voted on at the Annual Meeting. Nominations will also be taken from the floor the night of the meeting.

PRESENTATION TOPIC:
“Native Plants in the Landscape – A trajectory of 35 years”
“A look at the past, present and future use of native
plants in the natural and built environment”
Speaker Bio:
Jim MacKenzie is a co-owner of Octoraro Native Plant Nursery (ONPN). He holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University. He is actively involved with the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association (PLNA), serving previously on the Board of Directors for 13 years and presently on the Government Relations Committee. Jim and his staff at ONPN have been strong supporters of the Octoraro Watershed Association since 1990, providing quality stock for all of our riparian buffer plantings, public events, and in any way, they can help to protect, conserve, and enhance the Octoraro watershed.
